On 21 December 2021, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched  the Jagannath Sampoorna Griha Hakku Yojana 2022. Through this scheme, the Andhra Pradesh government is going to waive off all the loans and their interest on the houses sanctioned by the government and give full rights to the beneficiaries on their property. The beneficiaries are required to pay a nominal amount to avail the benefits of this scheme. The announcement of the launch of this scheme was made by the Chief Minister at a function at Tanuku in West Godavari district. More than 52 lakh families will be benefited by this scheme. The government is going to make available the registered title deed on payment of a nominal amount under the One Time Settlement Plan. Registration documents will also be made available to the beneficiaries.

Government will waive the outstanding loan of Rs 10 thousand crore

After paying the nominal value, the beneficiaries can transfer the property to the next generation, get loan and sell their property at market rate. Through the Jagannath Sampoorna Griha Hakku Yojana 2022 scheme, the Andhra Pradesh government is going to waive off the outstanding housing loan of about Rs 10 thousand crore. These loans are taken from AP Housing Board Corporation in 2011. About 52 lakh people will get benefit from this scheme. The Chief Minister has also distributed the documents registered under the scheme to 826000 people who have enrolled for this scheme. In addition  those citizens Those who have built houses in the land allotted by the government with their own money and who do not have full rights, they can also take advantage of registration by paying just Rs.10. The government is spending Rs 6000 crore for free registration under this scheme alone.

Nominal value to be paid for availing this scheme

To avail the benefits of  Jagannath Sampoorna Griha Hakku 2022 , the beneficiaries will have to pay a nominal amount of Rs 10000 in villages, Rs 15000 in municipality and Rs 20000 in municipal corporations. If the loan amount is less than the stipulated amount then the beneficiaries can pay the outstanding loan amount and get rights over their property. Beneficiaries can register under this scheme till April 2022. The property of the beneficiary shall be removed from the land prohibited under section 22(a) after payment of the nominal value. Beneficiaries can also register their property in Village and Ward Secretariat without any extra cost to make the registration process easy. Beneficiaries are not required to provide any linked document for carrying out any transaction related to the property.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy launched  loan facility for one time settlement scheme for beneficiaries under Jagannath Sampoorna Griha Hakku Yojana.  28 February 2022. The Chief Minister has said that the beneficiary of Guntur Municipal Corporation paid Rs 20000 and got a clear right to his property without any litigation. In return, they mortgaged their property and got a loan of Rs 30000 so that it would help their families to lead a better life. Under this scheme the beneficiary will get Rs 15000 with complete exemption in registration fee and stamp duty. 10 thousand crore loan was waived under OTS scheme. Apart from this, exemption in stamp duty of Rs 1600 crores.CM directs officials to complete the registration of properties for OTS beneficiaries within stipulated time
